Lina Kay, PA-C
Lina Kay has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years. She graduated from the Jefferson College of Health Sciences Roanoke, with a degree in Physician Assistant. She later earned a Master’s degree from the University of Texas. She was always passionate about integrative and preventative medicine and completed training at the School of Applied Functional Medicine.
Her medical interests are in primary care as well as gastrointestinal disorders, including SIBO/SIFO, liver health, IBS, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and environmental illness. “Disease often times begins in the GI tract’, hence she strongly believes in balancing the microbiome, treating underlying bacterial or fungal overgrowth, which could be contributing factors to chronic illness. Additionally, she is focused on preventative medicine, nutrient balancing, and hormonal health. By overcoming her own health challenges with integrative medicine, she now focuses her professional life to help others in their healing journey.
Lina’s hobbies outside of work are playing piano, attending theater and art events, learning chi gong, spending time with family, reading, and traveling.
